Fique em pé, como uma árvore de mamão!

As this year comes to an end and the new year begins, I am in Cabo Verde, surrounded by the verticality, greens and blues of Santo Antão and São Vicente. This makes way for my upcoming return to the homeland in the new year, although I am not the best example of someone who can pinpoint just one country as ‘home’. I will babble about this process of returning in a series of vignettes in 2026, titled ‘Go Like Water’ and ‘Su Gibi Git’.

I will also write some militant shout-outs about my move away from the big global tech industries, to the extent that it is possible. I am saturated, and I believe it is possible to go entirely open source and survive, despite the challenges. Read more here: My Shift to Linux.
